Back in November, we went on a field trip with Elias' school to the Muzha Zoo in Taipei. We rode in a charter bus with the other families to the zoo. On the way, we "got to" karaoke for prizes. :) Well, the other families sang. We didn't really feel the need to. And when we finally decided to do it, we ran out of time and were at the zoo. Bummer!
We started the day with the a view of the pandas and koalas together
with the rest of the group. Then some of the people from our bus stayed
with the tour guide for a tour of the Taiwan animals. That was neat
because we've been to the zoo three times before, but have never had
time to look at the Taiwan animals. Matthias' favorite was the black
bear. He kept trying to climb in to the black bear's area. Yikes!

Then we had free time for the rest of the day. So, we
called up Nevada and told her we were at the zoo. In about an hour she
was there with Gemma, Guinness, and one of their friends. Elias was
sooooo happy to see Gemma!!!

The day started out drizzling but then it cleared up and we had a
wonderful day at the zoo. We were glad that we could go. The kids had a
great time. And everyone was tired on the way home!
