Volleyball season started 2 weeks ago. This year I'm coaching again. This time, JV volleyball! That means I'm working with all high school girls this time. Tryouts were the first week of school and last week was the first week of practice.
I have 12 girls, grades 9-11, on my team. I also have an assistant coach, another teacher's spouse. So far I am enjoying our practices and time together. They are a great bunch of girls- very upbeat and excited about playing volleyball. I am also happy to be back playing again. It makes me realize how much I've missed it these last two years. It's hard for the boys when I have to leave for practice but hopefully as the season progresses, Matthias will be better about not crying when I leave!
